He was predeceased by : his parents, John McLuckie, Sr. and Hannah Earley McLuckie; and his siblings, Florence Hoffmeister and John McLuckie, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Eleanor Stafford McLuckie of Spartanburg; and his children, Linda Hayes (Philip) of Moore, SC, Alan McLuckie (Penny) of Roanoke, VA and James McLuckie of Washington, DC. He is also survived by grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Agape Hospice Care of Spartanburg or your favorite charity.
