He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfield Byrd and Viola Collins Byrd; and his siblings, Virginia Ruth Smith, Lousie Hawkins, Mary Fernanders, Juanita Copeland, Gennell'Jo'Tolliver, Winfield Byrd, Jr., James Williams Byrd and Johnny B Byrd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tomika Jackson (Nicholas) and Alicia Farr (Jerome); his grandchildren, Destiny Farr, Jaydin Jackson and Andrew Jackson; and his sister Bernice Coan (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
