She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Kehnast Hoot and Thomas White Hoot; and her brother Thomas W. Hoot, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Thomas Monaghan, Sr.; her children, Margaret Ann, Meg, Robert Thomas "Monk" Monaghan, Jr. (Suzanne) of Rock Hill, SC, Thomas "Tom" William Monaghan (Catharine) of Greer and James "Jim" Christopher Monaghan (Connie) of Moore; her grandchildren, James Christopher "Chris" Monaghan, Jr. (Rebecca), Charles "Chase" Robert Monaghan (Kelly), Phillip Robert Thomson (Kelsey), Kevin James Thomson, Madeline "Maddy" Monaghan Stevens and Caroline Marie Monaghan; and her great grandchildren, Riley Fordham, Brayden Monaghan, Rowen Monaghan, Liam Monaghan, Mosley Monaghan, Grace Monaghan, Hattie Thomson and Ellyn Stevens.
