He is survived by: his wife Gloria Lavonne Nelson Dillard; his sons, Matthew Dillard and Shawn Dillard; his stepdaughter Tara Cooper; his grandchildren, Kimberly Dillard, Nolan Stone, Mattox Jolley and Lance Champion; his sister Edie Marie Poteat (Marty); and his close friend Emily Snipes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
