He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Harkins and Ann Harkins; and his brother Robert E. Harkins (Bob) of Sydney, Australia.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his son Charles W. Harkins (Chuck) of Mount Pleasant, SC; his grandchildren, Amelia and Charles D. Harkins; and his siblings, John Wagner and Joann Abrahamsen of New Jersey.
