Mercer of Spartanburg, South Carolina, born in Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert E. Mercer Sr. and Juanita Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Mercer; his brother Herbert "Sonny" E. Mercer Jr. (Joan); and his sister-in-law Brenda Coggins (Tommy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
