It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ruppe in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hoyle Ruppe; his stepfather Glenn Wright; his son Brian Lee; and his stepsister Kaye Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Upchurch Ruppe; his mother Mary Owens Wright; his children, David Hoyle Ruppe Jr. (Amber), Chris Ruppe (Michelle), Mark Elmore (Rebecca) and Opal Ruppe (Ben); his brothers, Tommy Ruppe and Scottie Ruppe (Angie); his stepbrothers, Wayne Wright and Robbie Wright; and his close friend Moochie.
