It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie Mathis Poole of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Garrett and Lawrence Mathis; her husband Elmer J. C. Poole; and her son Elmer Jay Poole. She is survived by: her sister Gencey M. Cobb; and her nephew Doug Cobb (Nicole).
