She was predeceased by : her spouse Halkard "Butch" Alfred Hawkins; her parents, Eugene Jefferson and Maggie Bailey Pridmore; her sister Nancy Byars; and her granddaughter Kristy Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Barry Hawkins and Paula Dawkins; her nieces, Jessica Collins and Heidi Collins; and her great-nephew Cayden McCall.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Berry Memorial Baptist Church (2060 Union Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29340). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
