With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Inez Alley Shipman of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou Painter Alley and Clyde Thomas Alley; her husband Charles Bayless Shipman; her son Jimmy Shipman; her grandson Donnie Jennings; and her brother Johnny Alley.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Shipman (Karen) of Moore, SC and Linda Kay Jennings of Spartanburg, SC; her daughter-in-law Wanda Shipman; and her grandchildren, Tracy Harmon, Ruby Wright, Shawn Shipman, Johnny Shipman, Brittany Long, Hannah Pack and Clint Shipman. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
