With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Ann Crain (Spartanburg, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 74. As Frances Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Frances Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Frances Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Lee Crain; her parents, George Marion Morgan and Sara Sumner Morgan; and her brothers, Warren Morgan and Wendell Morgan.
She is survived by: her daughter Heather Carraway (Jason) of Roebuck; her granddaughter Maddie Carraway; her aunt Kathleen Seay; and her sister-in-law Carol Morgan.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery (701 Canaan Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29306).
