He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Roy Jackson and Lillie Ruth Clark Jackson (Momma Ruth); and his siblings, Leon Dupree Jackson, Lonnie Ruth Jackson Means and John Larry Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Lamar Jackson of Woodland, TX and Genesis Mequel Jackson-Gist (Delvin) of Boiling Springs, SC; his grandson Sh'Hundre Marquise Jackson; his goddaughter Jatoria Smith; his siblings, Lawrence C. Jackson of Spartanburg, Gary L. Jackson (Kimberly), Linder L. Jackson (Jean), Louie R. Jackson (Karyn) of Inman, SC, Lewis K. Jackson of Spartanburg, SC, Dr. LaVerne C. Jackson-Harvey (Robert) of Charlotte, NC and Lucille L. Waddell of Spartaburg, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Bessie A. Miller and William M. Barnette of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by brother-in-love, Larry Miller, AZ; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
