She is survived by: her parents, Mark Cowen of Spartanburg and Rosemary "Barbie" Trammell Hendricks; her grandparents, Larkin Edward and Virginia Coggins Trammell of Spartanburg; her stepfather Ben Hendricks of Spartanburg; her daughter Samantha Larkin "Blue" Smith of Moore; her half-brothers, T. J. Huckaby of Inman and Caleb Cowen of Rock Hill; her sister Julia Cowen King of Louisville, KY; her half-sister Jaime Huckaby Gaddy of Inman; and her grandson Valentine Ace Connard.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303, to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303, or to Pit Bull Rescue.
