He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Mable Diehl Ashton and Edwin Curry Ashton, Sr.; and his daughter Joy. He is survived by: his wife Ann Amerson Ashton; his son Keith A. Ashton (Shannon) of Inman; and his granddaughters, Tanesha Byrum (Eric) and Marly Lovinggood. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Seawright Funeral Home (26 E Main St, Inman, SC 29349).
