Houa Thao Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 19, 2026, at the age of 77, Houa Thao (Spartanburg, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tongseng Thao and Youa Xiong; her siblings, Tou Thao of Thailand, Dawb Thao of Oklahoma and Mai Thao of Minnesota; and her spouse Youa Ge Lor of Spartanburg.
She is survived by: her siblings, Vang Pheng Thao of California, Pao Thao of California, Neng Thao of California and Mee Thao of Laos; and her children, Mai Yang Lor (late Kawalue Yang) of Spartanburg, Chong Toua Lor (Yia Vang) of Spartanburg, Thao Jackson (Anthony Jackson) of Campobello, Mee Yang (Ger Yang) of Wisconsin, Chue Lor (Chong Vang) of Spartanburg, Tong Lor (Der Lor) of Inman and Jim Lor (Phua Thao) of Spartanburg. She is also survived by 44 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
