He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Cartledge Sr. and Margaret Cartledge Davis; his significant other Tammy L. Clark; his sister Theresa Duncan; and his niece Temisha Collier.
He is survived by: his daughter Aletha Renee Simpson of Spartanburg; his grandson Elijah Cromer (Patricia); his great grandchildren, Nova of Spartanburg, Zada of Spartanburg, Lafarie of Spartanburg and Rarity Cromer of Spartanburg; his siblings, Marletha Cartledge Foster (James) and George William Cartledge of Spartanburg; and his aunts, Barbara Jones (Johnny) and Peggy Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
