He was predeceased by: his father James Edward; and his sisters, Charlotte Seegars, Eleanor S. Allen (David), Evelyn S. Glover (Harold) and Barbara S. Crissey (Jack).
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Thompson Seegars; his children, Susan Harrison (Don), Kathleen Coffey (Ed), Kimberly Clayton (Ziggy), Dana Phillips (Lee), Jeannie Tate (Brian) and Jay Seegars (Anna); his grandsons, Nathan and Drew Harrison; and his children, Chase, Justin, Tyler Coffey (Wang), Gash, Bryant, Jamie Clayton, Ali, Evie, Maron Tate, Cate, Mason and James Seegars. He is also survived by thirteen great grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.
