She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Dale "Red" Brooks; her father Clifford Joe Spivey; her son Joseph Lee Brooks; and her sisters, Tammy Blackwell and Lisa Cooper.
She is survived by: her mother Lottie Harris Pruitt; her sons, Arthur Dale Brooks and Christopher Thomas Brooks; her siblings, Sharon Webb, Angela Miller, Timmy Joe Spivey and John Lee Pruitt; and her grandchildren, Joshua D. Brooks, Jacob Levi Brooks, Nyla Nicole Brooks, Laya Brooks, Roger Lane Brooks and Angel Nicole Amelia Brooks.
