She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mabel Foster Brannon and Jesse Briggs; her grandparents, Willie and Mary Briggs; her husband Isisiah Watson; her sons, Eddie Darnell Watson and Michael Burnett Watson; her siblings, Shirley Bergamy, Barbara Jean Brannon Samuel, James Brannon and Walter James Briggs; her aunt Edmonia Haney; her daughter Vanessa Wilkins of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Dr. Zakaria Watson (Sonya) and Slamarcus Watson (Tiffany) of Spartanburg; her siblings, Roosevelt Rice of New York and Patricia Boyd of New York; her cousin Lula Hardin of Palm Coast; her nieces and nephews, Virginia Watson, Sabrina Watson-Jackson, Jamie Brannon, Darrell Watson, Gerald Watson, Casey Teamer and James Anthony Brannon; and her friend Candesee Murray. She was also cherished by sixteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the New Day Baptist Church (2090 S Church St Ext, Spartanburg, SC 29306).
