He is survived by: his wife Brenda Harris Burrell; his children, Russell "Rusty" Burrell and Tena Burrell Ashley; his grandchildren, Ashley Hood (Matt) and Erin King (Michael); his great grandchildren, Kenzie Hood, Logan Hood, Haylee King and Thayden King; his sister Gertrude Weathers (Marvin); and his brother-in-law Nelson Breeden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
