As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Philip Sharpe and Mareda Wemple Sharpe; and his grandson Jason Craig Sharpe. He is survived by: his children, John Sharpe, Jr. (Jovel) of Fayetteville, NC, David Sharpe of Spartanburg and Linda Smith of Spartanburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM.
