He was predeceased by : his parents, John Bryant and Lila Allison Vehorn; his son Scott Vehorn; his son-in-law Pete Luedtke; and his grandson Manning Vehorn.

He is survived by : his children, Philip Vehorn (Michelle), Mark Vehorn (Penny) and Ann Leudtke. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
