She was predeceased by : her spouse Russell G. McDowell, Sr. of Spartanburg; her parents, Mrytle F. Timmons and Clifford C. Timmons; her son Russell G. McDowell, Jr.; and her siblings, James C. Timmons, Charles E. Timmons, Harold E. Timmons, Mary R. Timmons Vehoun and Jewell C. Timmons Carroll.
She is survived by : her daughter Kay Denise McDowell; her grandchildren, Russell G. McDowell "Trey", Ashley D. McDowell, Brittany H. McDowell, Amanda Caldwell McDowell and Ivy Lambert; her daughter-in-law Donna McDowell; and her close friends, Kim Strickland, Terry Caldwell and Shazta M. Wilder. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
