He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence C. Davis, Sr. and Lula Ross Davis; his former life partner Mildred B. Davis; his niece Karen Bentley; and his siblings, Delane Davis, Joe Davis and Janie Kendrick.
He is survived by : his daughters, Leah Plott (Greg) of West End, NC, Julie Loyd of Spartanburg, SC and Vicki Cook (Jeff) of Moore, SC.; his fiancé Gail Rodgers of Spartanburg; and his grandchildren, Maria Milbourne (Ricky), Kevin Cook (Ariana), Mack Loyd (Allie), Samantha Bedwell (Jake), Payton Loyd (Victoria), Hayley Searcy (Nathan), Sydney Cook and Drew Plott (Gracie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
