It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lizzie Ruth Drummond of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Drummond; her parents, Albert Dawkins and Elnora Hopkins; her siblings, Sallie D. Clarke, Tina Hampton and Clarence Albert Dawkins; her aunt Harriet Loureace Kelly; and her great-niece Tammie Foster.
She is survived by: her sons, John Drummond, Jarvison Drummond (Kristina Barksdale) and Paul Drummond; her grandchildren, Measha Barksdale, Asia Drummond, Ashley Drummond, Byron Barksdale and Porcha Barksdale; and her nieces, Sharon Clarke, Harriett Clarke and Brenda Simmons.
