She was predeceased by: her parents, George Arthur and Gertrude Louise MooreTanner; and her siblings, Thomas, Willie George and Carolyn Tanner.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Whiteside of Boiling Springs, SC, Marquean Tanner of Moore, SC and Taurean Kenan (Elyse) of Burlington, NC; and her siblings, Andrew Tanner (Shirley) of Spartanburg, SC, Don Tanner of Spartanburg, SC and Maxine Gillard of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gilmore Mortuary Chapel (214 Memorial Dr, Greer, SC 29650).
