With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion R Lockhart of Spartanburg, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Buren Ritchey and Marion Hines Ritchey; and her brother Paul Ritchey. She is survived by: her husband Delmos Lockhart; her children, Donna Lazar (Jeff) of Wellford, SC and Bruce Lockhart (Jan) of Greer, SC.; her grandchildren, Cameron Lazar (Stephanie) of Overland Park, KS, Megan Lazar Shelton (Andrew) of Spartanburg, SC and Lauren Lockhart-Collins (Chandler) of Wake Forest, NC; and her great grandchildren, Cadence Westrup and Rhett Lazar.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fernwood Baptist Church (200 Fernwood Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fernwood Baptist Church, 200 Fernwood Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
