He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael John and Jean Slupski Klatchak. He is survived by: his wife Claire Long Klatchak of Boiling Springs, SC; his brother Mark; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Klatchak of Chesnee, SC and Kathleen Purtle of Topeka.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Michael be sent to Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 161 North Dean Street Spartanburg, SC 29302.
