With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mike Thompson in Spartanburg, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Calhoun "Jake" and Edith Willingham Thompson; and his siblings, Tommy Thompson and Sherri DePetrillo. He is survived by: his wife Angela "Angie" Harper Thompson; his children, Kylie Kuykendall (Eric) of Inman and Jacyn Harper Thompson (Kimberly) of Lititz, PA; his siblings, Teresa Pruitt (Luke) of Lexington and Mark Thompson of Mt. Pleasant; and his grandchildren, Karis, Justus, Ava, Chad and Tessa.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sc Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to The Bridge at Green Street at 317 Green Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29303.
