With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Raulerson Simmonds of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Greiner and Everett Greiner; her brother John Greiner; and her pets, Mimi, Buttons, Bailey and Kadie.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Raulerson Parrish (Remsen); and her grandson John Remsen. She is also survived by nieces and a nephew, best friends and neighbors.
