We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023, at the age of 81, Peggy Bruce of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Alton Ray Bruce; her parents, Boyce Hilbert Hall Sr. and Annie Bell Lane Hall; and her siblings, Sibyl Jean Hall Edwards, Boyce Hilbert Hall Jr. (Bud) and James Franklin Hall (Jim).

She is survived by : her children, Virginia Lane (Gini), Lisa Bruce Sims (James) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Steven Ray Bruce (Rene) of Spartanburg, SC and Jason Alton Bruce (Christen) of Moore, SC.; her grandchildren, Hunter, Sam, Seth, Josh Bruce, Rowan and Ann Kendall Sims; and her siblings, Ruby Hall of Virginia, Nina Rebecca Hall Gregory and Alberry Clement Hall (A. C.).

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Roebuck Baptist Church (1979 E Blackstock Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to either of the following: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or, Roebuck Baptist Church 1979 E. Blackstock Rd Roebuck, SC 29376.
