He was predeceased by: his parents, George Worthy and Margaret Ruth Knox Worthy; and his siblings, Jackie Allen, Robert Leslie McHenry and Cathy Bird.

He is survived by: his sons, Matthew "Matt" McHenry and Jonathan McHenry (Maci); his nephew Jeffery McHenry; and his grandchildren, Blake McHenry and Maddie Kate McHenry.
