He was predeceased by: his father Robert Carter Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Lois L. Carter; his siblings, Martisha Dwyer, Ramona Carter, Kinta Carter, Binta Carter and Michael Carter; and his close friend Barbara J Bolin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel (602 Howard St, Spartanburg, SC 29303).
