He is survived by: his close friend Virginia Owens; his granddaughter Hannah Lindsey; his children, Misty McBee Smalls and Jason McBee; his stepchildren, Janice Spencer (Rick), Wendy Owens (Man Edwards) and Mark; and his extended family, Lee Hames (Jennie), Bobby Hames (Patty), Jerold Hames, Christine Chapman, Alice Tyler, Deborah Lamb (Bill) and Linda Fleming (Cedric). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
