As Roger departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roger leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Luttrell and Marthanelle Luttrell; and his sister Rebecca Vanke. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Luttrell; his children, John Luttrell and Dana Garner; his grandchildren, Logan Garner and Savannah Luttrell; and his children-in-law, Chuck Garner and Robin Luttrell.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the HopePoint Community Church (1185 Asheville Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29303).
