She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon Fant and Adelle Glenn Gist; her siblings, Fant Jr., Nelson, James, Charles, Douglas, Willie Lee, Rudean Gist Gregg and Ruth Gist Shands; and her nephew Stacey Gist.
She is survived by: her sisters, Roberta Jones (Les) of Oxon Hill and Frances DeLois Gist of Spartanburg. She is also survived by several nephew, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
