She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Epps and Doris Jefferies Epps; her husband Wilbert Cornell Linder; her sister Sylvia Jefferies; her grandchildren, Deren McDowell, Jr. and Beyonce'McNeil; and her great grandchild O'marii Tate.
She is survived by: her children, Frankie Epps (Brandy) of Gaffney, SC, Latasha Thompson (Jontae) of Spartanburg, SC, Carmilla Jefferies of Gaffney, SC and Aaliyah Linder of Gaffney, SC; her stepdaughter Sheila Linder of New York; and her siblings, Joe Epps, Jr. (Charlie) of Boiling Springs, SC, Travis Epps of Gaffney, SC and Dottie Epps of Gaffney, SC. She is also survived by 23 granchildren; 10 great-granchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Gilmore Mortuary Chapel (305 W Rutledge Ave, Gaffney, SC 29341).
