He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Konigsbauer and Berta Faltermeier; his son Nicklas Faltermeier; and his brothers, Geor Schmid and Gust Faltermeier.

He is survived by: his wife Natalia Schell Faltermeier; his children, Steve Faltermeier (Denise), Julia Covington (Jimmy) and Chareen Stevenson (Robbie); his grandchildren, Nicholas Covington, Caytlyn Covington, Justin Faltermeier, Blayne Faltermeier, Rob Stevenson and Clay Stevenson; and his brothers, Otto Schmid and Hans Schmid. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
