He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Jeter Sr. and Betty Jean Jeter-Mosley; and his sister Mary Woodruff. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Jeter; his stepchildren, Tiffany Garrett of Spartanburg, SC and Makeisha Butler (Tony) of Summerville, SC.; his grandchildren, Hici, Que, Shy and Langston; his great grandchildren, Garrett, Sephie and Nova; and his siblings, Anderson Jeter Jr. (Shirley) of Spartanburg, SC, Willie Jeter (Elaine) of Killeen Texas, Debra Woodard, Cheryl Jeter-Jones, Marsha Suber, Kelly Jeter and Trannie Mosley of Spartanburg, SC.. He is also survived by five nieces and three nephews.
