He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boyce and Minnie Boyce; his spouse Shelby Hughes Boyce; and his siblings, Wallace Boyce, Earle Boyce, Clarence Boyce, Anna McInvaille, Pauline Poole Hughes, Ruby Cooper and Gladys Neal.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas E. Boyce, Jr. (Cindy) and Karen B. Fisher; his grandchildren, Meredith Boyce, Anna Fisher, Evan Fisher and Nicholas Fisher; his caregiver Michelle Roth; and his close friend Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Christopher Episcopal Church (400 Dupre Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
