We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2025, at the age of 78, Thomas Lovin (Spartanburg, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Thomas' spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jo Ann Lovin; his parents, John B. Lovin and Annie Belle Lovin; his children, Leslie Wiley (Mikey) and April Lovin (JJ Kelly); his stepdaughter Sonya Boyter (Eddie); his sisters, Geraldine Nichols (William "Buddy") and Sherry Lovin Parker; and his siblings-in-law, Lavada Nabors, Linda Machi (Nick) and Kenny Parker. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bobo Funeral Chapel (1860 Cannons Campground Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Memorial Park (4164 SC-9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316).
