He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Edgar Putman and Mildred Wolfe Putman; and his sons, David, Barry, Dale and Mark Putman.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Putman (Cynthia) and Wanda Greer; his grandson Jonathan Putman (Kasia); and his brothers, John Putman (Annette) and Joe Putman.
