He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Eugene and Esmer Anise Bullocks Ligon; his grandson Joshua McCluney; and his sisters, Elizabeth Gentry, Brenda Clark and Doris Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Pennington Ligon; his daughters, Michelle Haggard (Robbie), Angela Pursell and Valerie McCluney (Justin); his sisters, Maybelle Wright (David) and Patricia Greene; his grandchildren, Bradley Pursell (Jade), Anna Black (Charlie), Jason Haggard, Jacob Haggard (Mari), Andrew McCluney, Ashton McCluney and Grace McCluney; his great grandchildren, Nellie Pursell, Navie Pursell, Maverick Black and Charlee Haggard; and his nephew Ridge Gentry.
