He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arrowood and Shirley Arrowood; and his brother James Arrowood. He is survived by: his wife Renee Howard Arrowood; his children, Wayne Arrowood Jr. of Spartanburg, Dewayne Arrowood of Spartanburg and Brenda Deskin (Donnie) of Shelby; and his siblings, Randy Arrowood of Gaffney, Brenda Smith (Carl) of Chesnee and Joyce Lee (Dennis) of Spartanburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
