It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Bishop of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bishop and Mary Bishop; his brothers, Larry, Harold and Donnie Bishop; and his grandparents, Hezzie and Tennie Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Bishop; his daughter Kady Bishop; and his grandson Beckett Bishop.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel (257 N Main St, Woodruff, SC 29388). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, S.C. 29301.
