He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Macon Woolen and Lucille Setzler Woolen; and his siblings, Belva Woolen and John Woolen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara G Smith Woolen; his sons, Phillip (Jennifer Woolen) and Charles (Pam Woolen); his grandchildren, Blake Woolen (Sarah), Mindy Scott (Bobby), Savannah Laney, Aaron Woolen (Sarah) and Kylie Woolen; his sisters, Lillyan Hood and Julie Derrick; and the mother of his children Maytze Woolen. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery (2095 Chesnee Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29303). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
