She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Kilpatrick and Bessie Flake Riggs; and her spouse H. B. "Jack" Payne. She is survived by: her children, Richard Thomas "Ricky" Maner (Sally D.) of Irmo, SC and Patricia "Trish" Maner; her grandchildren, Shay Ryan Maner and Lauren Victoria Browder; and her great grandchildren, Raven, Oliver and Jasper.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Folk Funeral Home (170 Elko St, Williston, SC 29853). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (150 Hi-Cotton Ln, Springfield, SC 29146).
