He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tillman Kinard, Sr. and Sarah Shumpert Kinard; his brother Charles Tillman Kinard, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Terry Black. He is survived by: his wife Donna Spigner Kinard; his children, Becky Brown (Tracey) of Elgin, SC, Hamilton Kinard (Britnee) of Richmond Hill, GA, Susan Dakes (Dennis) of Rock Hill, SC, Joe Bass (Diana) of Frederick, MD, Cary Bass-Dechénes (Michael) of Richmond, CA and Chris Bass (Helen) of Savannah, GA.; and his sister Sarah Kinard Black. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
