He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry L. Spires and Sarah Ellen Donahue Spires; and his siblings, Robert L. Spires, Dorris Branch and Sarah Harmon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Steve Spires and Annie Laura Sturkie (Lamar). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (1477 W E Jeffcoat Rd, Gaston, SC 29053). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
