He was predeceased by: his parents, Rothell Price and Nancy Dickson Price; his brothers, Harold, Jimmy and Joe Dan Price; and his grandson Patrick Whitmire.

He is survived by: his wife Hilda Price; his children, Wanda Johnson (Carl) of Casselberry, Mike Price (Rachel) of Burnsville, NC, Debra Whitmire (Billy Ray) and Dannie Brooks Glenn (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Spencer Johnson (Katrina), Caitlyn Forman (Jeff), Jason Price (Hannah), Melissa Brock (Tommy), Jennifer Cummings (Brian), Brandon Whitmire, Chris Glenn, John Michael Glenn and Anna King (Jacob). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
